Small numbers of Yellowhammers are still found around Lough Swilly in Donegal, but they are still decreasing due to habitat loss. I have spent time enjoying them at every opportunity, their wonderful song is the sound of summer.

Original copy painted by hand, with watercolor technique on special paper for watercolor.
