The ghostly shape of a Barn Owl drifting through a cars headlights is often the only view people will get, and it is how most of my encounters have been. I have enjoyed some visits to bird of prey centres in Ireland in recent years, seeing these birds up close is always a fantastic experience.

Original copy painted by hand, with watercolor technique on special paper for watercolor.
