I am an Irish free-lance artist and illustrator who has recently moved to Donegal from Dublin. I have been watching and enjoying birds and wildlife for as long as I can remember. Encouraged by the Tolka Branch of Birdwatch Ireland, which I joined when I was 7, I began to combine my love of art and bird watching. But it took a few years of further encouragement by Eric Dempsey before I began drawing in the field, something I hope to spend more time doing in the future.

In 2012, I went back to college and studied Illustration in Ballyfermot Institute of Further Education completing a higher national diploma.
I am currently working on books, logos and commercial illustrations, as well as private commisions.

I have been very fortunate to combine my love of birds and travel, visiting far flung locations in search of beautiful and rare birds and mammals. But my main passion remains birds of Ireland, all the species that have and could occur.
